Al Majdal Agricultural Company is specialized in producing extra virgin olive oil from the olive plantation of the Mango family estate. The estate is situated in Majdal on the hills of Gilead close to the Roman town of Gerasa (Jerash) in the Northern part of Jordan. The estate was acquired in the mid 1940’s and has been a family run farm ever since, consisting of a cold press and a variety of olive trees that are cultivated without the use of chemical fertilizers or chemical pesticides and are mostly rain irrigated. The press is one of the oldest modern presses in Jordan. It was established in 1968.
